Central Government specifies the 7 years 13.5% (Taxable) Secured Redeemable Non-convertible POWERGRID Bonds issued by the Power Grid Corporation of India , Limited u/s 80L NOTIFICATION NO. S.O.818 ( E ) DATED 22-9-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( ii ) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the 7 years 13.5% (Taxable) Secured Redeemable Non-convertible POWERGRID Bonds (III-Issue) bearing distinctive numbers from C-1000001 to C-1160000 of Rs. 1,000 each aggregating for an amount of rupees sixteen crores only issued by the Power Grid Corporation of India, Limited, for the purpose of the said clause.
