Amendment in Notification No. S. O. No. 862(E), dated 12th December, 1997 NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 218 ( E ) DATED 16-3-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government on the recommendations of the National Committee hereby amends the Notification of Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) S. O. No. 862(E), dated 12th December, 1997, as follows, namely :---- In the said Notification at Serial No. 14 in column 3 the words "at Mumbai, Maharashtra" shall be omitted. [No. 10556/F.
