Seeks to rescinds Notification Number S.O. 754(E) dated 14th May, 2007 - S.O. 3634(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd October, 2019 S.O. 3634(E). -WHEREAS, M/s. OSE Infrastructure Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES) at Plot No. C-001, Sector-67, Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar District in the State of Uttar Pradesh; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 10.11753 hectares vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 754(E) dated 14th May, 2007 ; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. OSE Infrastructure Limited has now proposed to de-notify entire area of 10.11753 hectares of the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh has given its No Objection to the proposal vide letter No.1083/77-3-19-28SEZ/06 dated 11th July, 2019; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Noida, Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of entire area of 10.11753 Hectares of the Special Economic Zone; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , the Central Government hereby rescinds the above notification except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
