Central Government specifies the 17.75% Secured, Redeemable, Non-Cumulative Medium Term Bonds u/s 80L NOTIFICATION NO. 10887 DATED 4-5-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( ii ) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies the 17.75% Secured, Redeemable, Non-Cumulative Medium Term Bonds (Taxable) (VIII-C Series) of Rs. 1,00,000 each for an amount of Rs. 126.66 crores bearing distinctive numbers from H3M033009 to H3M045674 and 18% Secured, Redeemable, Non-cumulative Staggered Redemption Bonds (Taxable) (VIII-C Series) of Rs. 1,00,000 each for an amount of Rs. 8.32 crores bearing distinctive numbers from H3S032127 to H3S033008 aggregating for an amount of Rupees One hundred-thirty-five crores and forty-eight lakhs only issued by Nuclear Power Corporation for the purpose of the said clause.
