Central Government specifies the 16.25% (Taxable) Secured Redeemable Non-cumulative Bonds issued by Nuclear Power Corporation, New Delhi u/s 80L NOTIFICATION NO. S. O. 295 ( E ) DATED 4-5-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( ii ) of sub-section (1) of section 80L of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government specifies,--- ( a ) the 16.25% (Taxable) Secured Redeemable Non-cumulative Bonds [VIIIth Series, Tranche-'A') bearing distinctive numbers from H-1000001 to H-1021573 of rupees one lakh each of the aggregate value of rupees two hundred fifteen crores and seventy-three lakhs only ; and ( b ) the 16.25% (Taxable) Secured Redeemable Non-cumulative Bonds (VIIIth Series, Tranche-'B') bearing distinctive numbers from H-2021574 to H-2032126 of rupees one lakh each of the aggregate value of rupees one hundred five crores and fifty-three lakhs only, issued by Nuclear Power Corporation, New Delhi, for the purpose of the said clause.
