Amendment in Export Policy of Onions - 31/2015-20 - Foreign Trade Policy

S.O. 3130 (E) -In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) , as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Export Policy of Onion for the item description at Serial Number 51 and 52 of Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export Import Items, with immediate effect. S. No ITC (HS) Code Description Present Policy Revised Policy 51 07031010 07122000 Onion (all varieties except Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions) excluding cut, sliced or broken in powder form. 1 [ Prohibited ] Free 52 07031010 07122000 Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions excluding cut, sliced o broken in powder form. 1 [ Prohibited ] Free 2. The provisions as under Para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 regarding transitional arrangement shall not be applicable under this Notification. 3. Effect of this Notification: The Export of all varieties of Onions, as described above, is prohibited, with immediate effect. The provisions under Transitional Arrangement ( Para 1.05 of the FTP 2015-20 ) shall not be applicable under this notification.
