Amendment in Export Policy of Onions - 50/2015-2020 - Foreign Trade Policy

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE) NOTIFICATION NO. 50/2015-2020 New Delhi, the 28th December, 2020 Subject : Amendment in Export Policy of Onions. S.O. 4740(E). -In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated 14.09.2020 amending the Export Policy of Onion for the item description at Serial Numbers 51 52 of Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export Import Items, with effect from 01.01.2021. S. No. ITC (HS) Code Description Present Policy Revised Policy 51 07031010 07122000 Onion (all varieties except Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions) excluding cut, sliced or broken in powder form. Prohibited Free 52 07031010 07122000 Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions excluding cut, sliced or broken in powder form. Prohibited Free 2. Effect of this Notification: The Export of all varieties of Onions, as described above, has been made Free with effect from 01.01.2021. Accordingly, the Notification No. 39/2015-20 dated 09.10.2020 related to export of Bangalore Rose and Krishnapuram Onions also stands withdrawn with effect from 01.01.2021. [F.
