Central Government notified annual quota of 1.5 lakh MT for import of Urad [Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper] for the period up to 31st March, 2021 - S.O. 3446 (E) - Foreign Trade Policy

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st October, 2020 S.O. 3446 (E). -In exercise of powers conferred by section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992) , read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 , as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby notifies quota of 1.5 Lakh MT for import of Urad [Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper] under HS Code 0713 31 10, 0713 90 10 and 0713 90 90 of Chapter 7 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule I (Import Policy), for the period up to 31st March, 2021, for the year 2020-21. Allocation of Quota of 1.5 Lakh MT will be as per procedure to be notified separately by Directorate General of Foreign Trade:- Provided that this restriction shall not apply to Government s commitments under any Bilateral or Regional Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding. 2.
