Central Government de-notifies an area of 4.97 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as 1.72 hectare at Wagholi and Kharadi Villages, Pune in the State of Maharashtra - S.O. 4068 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th September, 2021 S.O. 4068(E). - Whereas, M/s. AIGP Developers (Pune) Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES) at Wagholi and Kharadi Villages, Pune in the State of Maharashtra; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , notified an area of 6.69 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O.1401(E) dated 18 th March, 2019 ; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. AIGP Developers (Pune) Private Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 4.97 hectare from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Maharashtra has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. SEZ-2017/CR-184/Ind-2 dated 10th June, 2021; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, SEEPZ, SEZ has recommended the proposal for denotification of an area of 4.97 hectare of the Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 4.97 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as 1.72 hectare, comprising the Survey numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA S.
