Central Government de-notifies an area of 0.4167 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as 35.7633 hectare at Sitapura, Jaipur in the State of Rajasthan - S.O. 4069 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th September, 2021 S.O. 4069(E). -Whereas, M/s. Rajasthan State Industrial Development Investment Corporation (RIICO) Ltd. had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up of a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Gems and Jewellery at Sitapura, Jaipur in the State of Rajasthan; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , notified an area of 36.18 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O.235(E) dated 24th February, 2004; AND WHEREAS, M/s. Rajasthan State Industrial Development Investment Corporation (RIICO) Ltd. has now proposed for de-notification of 0.4167 hectare from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Rajasthan has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. P.4(34)/industries/1/2016 dated 28th September, 2020; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Noida, SEZ has recommended the proposal for denotification of an area of 0.4167 hectare of the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.4167 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as 35.7633 hectare, comprising the Khasra numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA S.
