Central Government de-notifies an area of 11.9635 hectares at Rakha and Nimoth Villages, Tehsil-Sohna, District-Gurugram in the State of Haryana, thereby making the resultant area as 3.1242 hectares - S.O.14 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th December, 2021 S.O.14 (E). -Whereas, M/s. Mayar Infrastructure Development Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Biotechnology Sector at Rakha and Nimoth Villages, Tehsil-Sohna, DistrictGurugram in the State of Haryana; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , notified 12.4928 hectares and 2.59 hectares vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Gazette Notifications Number S.O.2174(E) dated 09th September, 2008 and S.O.26(E) dated 06th January, 2010, respectively; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Mayar Infrastructure Development Private Limited has now proposed for denotification of 11.9635 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Haryana has given its approval to the proposal vide Memo No. SEZ/M/s Mayar Infrastructure development Pvt. Ltd./9557-A dated 30th September, 2021; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Noida, SEZ has recommended the proposal for denotification of an area of 11.9635 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and the de-notified land shall be used for infrastructure development in the nature of industrial units, warehousing facilities, storage units etc.; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 11.9635 hectares at Rakha and Nimoth Villages, Tehsil-Sohna, District-Gurugram in the State of Haryana, thereby making the resultant area as 3.1242 hectares.
