Amendment to the Notification No. 40/2015-Customs dated 21.07.2015 to substitute the name of M/s International Institute of Diamond Grading & Research India Pvt Ltd by M/s De Beers India Pvt Ltd - 20/2022 - Customs -Tariff

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) (CENTRAL BOARD OF INDIRECT TAXES AND CUSTOMS) NOTIFICATION NO. 20/2022 - Customs New Delhi, the 6th April, 2022 G.S.R. 278(E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 40/2015-Customs, dated the 21st July, 2015, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide, number G.S.R. 568 (E), dated the 21st July, 2015 , namely:- 2. In the said notification, in the Table, for serial number 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:- 3. The principal notification No. 40/2015-Customs, dated the 21st July, 2015, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide, number G.S.R. 568 (E), dated the 21st July, 2015 and was last amended by notification No. 24/2020-Customs, dated 21st May, 2020, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide, number G.S.R. 306 (E), dated the 21st May, 2020.
