Expenditure-tax (First Amendment) Rules, 2000 NOTIFICATION NO. 11361 DATED 11-5-2000 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Expenditure-tax Act, 1987 (35 of 1987), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further, to amend the Expenditure-tax Act, 1987, namely : 1. (1) These rules may be called the Expenditure-tax (First Amendment) Rules, 2000. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Expenditure-tax Rules, 1987, in Appendix, in Form No. 3, in the opening portion,— (i) the boxes provided under the words "Permanent Account No.", the following boxes shall be inserted, namely :— " " ; (ii) the boxes provided against the words "Assessment year", the following boxes shall be inserted, namely :— " - " ; (iii) after item relating to 'state whether resident/non-resident', the following item shall be inserted, namely,— "Details of *bank accounts Name of the bank Address of the branch Account number Please [v] the bank account where you would like the amount of refund to be credited (ii) in the "verification", the figures "19" shall be omitted.
