MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st May, 2000 G.S.R. 371 (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 1 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of June, 2000 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
