Central Government de-notifies an area of 1.11 hectares, thereby making the resultant area as 3.95 hectares at Survey No. 128/2/A Near Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park – Phase-I, Hinjewadi, Taluka- Mulashi, District Pune, District, in the State of Maharashtra - S.O. 3234(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (SEZ Division) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th August, 2024 S.O. 3234(E). Whereas, M/s. Nalanda Shelter Pvt. Ltd, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Survey No. 128/2/A Near Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park Phase-I, Hinjewadi, Taluka- Mulashi, District Pune, District, in the State of Maharashtra; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified and de-notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as details given below in the table: Sl. Ltd. has now proposed for de-notification of 1.11 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Maharashtra has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. SEZ-2024/CR-56/Ind-2 dated 18th June, 2024. Further, after de-notification, the land parcels would be utilized towards the creation of infrastructure which would sub-serve the objective of the SEZ as originally envisaged; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, SEEPZ Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 1.11 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in the exercise of the powers conferred by the first proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 , and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 1.11 hectares, thereby making the resultant area as 3.95 hectares.
