Appointed Sh. S.C. Gupta. an officer of the Indian Revenue Service and then posted as a Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Shimla NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 24th March, 2009 No. 4/2009 S.O. 826(E). - Whereas Central Government by Order No. A-1202612/2008-Ad.I dated the 29th January, 2009, appointed Sh. S.C. Gupta. an officer of the Indian Revenue Service and then posted as a Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Shimla, as a Member of the Appellate Tribunal for Forfeited Property with effect from the date he takes over charge; And whereas, Shri S.C. Gupta assumed charge of the office of Member of the said Tribunal in the forenoon of the 30th January, 2009; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 68N of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (61 of 1985), read with sub-rule (2) of Rule 11 of the Appellate Tribunal for Foreited Property (Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1989, the Central Government hereby notifies the appointment of Shri S.C. Gupta as a Member of the aforesaid Tribunal; Shri S.C. Gupta shall hold office till he attains the age of sixty-two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. [F.
