Central Excise (7th Amendment) Rules, 1989 Notification No. 37/89-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 16-8-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules, 1944, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Excise (7th Amendment) Rules, 1989. (2) They shall come into force on the 31st day of October, 1989. 2. In rule 93 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, in clause (b), for sub-clause (i), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely :- "(i) the name and address of the factory;".
