Articles of stone, plaster, cement etc. - Amendment to Notification No. 36/94-C.E. Notification No. 51/95-C.E. Dated 16-3-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 36/94-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (a) against S. No. 1, in column (3), - (i) in item (a), for the sub-item "(iii)", the following sub-item shall be substituted, namely :- "(iii) Goods manufactured at the site of construction for use in construction work such at site;"; (ii) item (c) and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted; (b) S. No. 2 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
