Cement - Effective rate of duty under Notification 5/94-C.E. available to cement produced from clinker manufactured within the same factory

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 5/94-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :-

In the said notification, in the clause (a) of proviso 2, for the words and figure "against S. No. 2", the words and figures "against S. No. 1 or S. No. 2" shall be substituted.
