Specified goods of Chapter 96 - Amendment to Notification No. 83/90-C.E. Notification No. 156/90-C.E. Dated 16-11-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 83/90-Central Excises, dated the 20th March, 1990, namely :- In the Table to the said notification, - (a) for Sl. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "3. 96.08 Ball point pens including refills for ball point pens, and parts thereof. Nil"; (b) Sl. No. 4 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
