Amendment to Notification No. 175/86-C.E. - G.E. No. 1

Notification No. 113/89-C.E.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 175/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :-

In the said notification, -

(1) in paragraph 5, in the proviso, for the figures and words "31st day of March, 1989", the figures and words "31st day of March, 1990" shall be substituted;

(2) in the Annexure, -

(i) in S. No. 1, -

(a) for the figures "56.02, 73.08", the figures "56.02, 73.07, 75.08" shall be substituted;

(b) for the figures "73.26, 74.12", the figures "73.26, 74.08, 74.12" shall be substituted;

(ii) in S. No. 2, for the figures and word "7216.50 or 7302.90", the figures and word "7216.50, 7301.20 or 7302.90" shall be substituted; and

(iii) in S. No. 4, in item (iii), the figures "4005.00" shall be omitted.
