Rescinds Notifications No. 8/88-C.E. and 9/88-C.E. [S.E.D.]

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, read with sub-section (4) of section 82 of the Finance Act, 1988 (26 of 1988), the Central Government hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), namely :-

1. 8/88-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988.

2. 9/88-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988.
