In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 1/87-Central Excises, dated the 1st January, 1987, namely :-

In the said notification, for the Table annexed to the first paragraph, the following Table shall be substituted, namely :-

"TABLE

01. Talcher Unit of the Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited.

02. Barauni Unit of Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited.

03. Khetri Copper Complex of Hindustan Copper Limited.

04. Madras Fertilizers Limited.

05. Delhi Electric Supply Undertaking.

06. Damodar Valley Corporation.".
