In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 122/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :-

In the Annexure to the said notification, -

(i) for Item No. 2, the Item "2. Glibenclamide" shall be substituted;

(ii) for Item No. 5, the Item "5. Glipixide" shall be substituted;

(iii) for Item No. 8, the Item "8. Diphenoxylate Hcl with Atropine Sulphate" shall be substituted;

(iv) for Item No. 9, the Item "9. Loperaoxide Hcl" shall be substituted;

(v) for Item No. 14, the Item "14. Diloxanide Furoate" shall be substituted;

(vi) for Item No. 16, the Item "16. Tetramisole Hcl/Levamisole Hcl" shall be substituted;

(vii) for Item No. 20, the Item "20. Oxytetracycline and its salts" shall be substituted;

(viii) for Item No. 21, the Item "21. Gentamycin Sulphate" shall be substituted;

(ix) for Item No. 23, the Item "23. Neomycin Sulphate" shall be substituted;

(x) for Item No. 24, the Item "24. Polymyxin B. Sulphate" shall be substituted;

(xi) for Item No. 28, the Item "28. Miconasole Nitrate" shall be substituted;

(xii) for Item No. 33, the Item "33. Propranolol Hcl" shall be substituted; and

(xiii) for Item No. 41, the Item "41. Hydralazine Hcl" shall be substituted.
