Effective rate for food colours and food colour preparations Notification No. 449/86-C.E. Dated 13-11-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 392/86-Central Excises, dated the 22nd August, 1986, namely :- In the proviso to the said notification, for the words "as are for sale in retail and are put up in containers", the words "as are put up in unit containers and ordinarily intended for sale" shall be substituted.
