Credit of duty in respect of inputs used in an intermediate products Notification No. 396/86-C.E. Dated 22-8-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57J of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 198/86-Central Excises, dated the 14th March, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "2. Wire rods of copper falling under sub-heading No. 7403.19 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986). Copper Wires falling under sub-heading No. 7405.90 of the said Schedule. Winding wires of copper falling under sub-heading No. 8544.00 of the said Schedule and on which the duty of excise is leviable whether in whole or in part.".
