Effective rates of duty for refrigerating and air conditioning appliances and parts thereof Notification No. 352/86-C.E. Dated 20-6-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 166/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely:- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) in S. No. 1, against item (ii), in column (4), for the entry "Sixty per cent. ad valorem", the entry "Forty per cent. ad valorem" shall be substituted; and (ii) in S. Nos. 2 and 6, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Forty per cent. ad valorem" shall be substituted.
