Copper, copper products and waste and scrap of copper Notification No. 232/86-C.E. Dated 3-4-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 173/84-Central Excises, dated the 1st August, 1984, namely :— In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 8 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) (4) "9. 7405.10 Bare copper wires of thickness 2.00 mm or more. If the Assistant Collector of Central Excise is satisfied that such wires are used in the factory of production for the manufacture of bare copper wires finer than 2.00 mm. 10. 7413.90 Copper or brass utensils. —".
