Amendment to 5 existing notifications
Notification No. 163/86-C.E.
Dated 1-3-1986
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner indicated in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.

In the said notification, for the words "rupees five thousand six hundred and twenty five per car", the words "Twenty five per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted. |

In the said notification, for the words "Fifteen per cent ad valorem.", the words "Twenty five per cent ad valorem." shall be substituted. |

In the Table annexed to the said notification,— |

for the entry under column (2), the following entry shall be substituted, namely :— |

|

(ii) |
in column (3), for the words "Ten per cent ad valorem", the words "Twenty per cent ad valorem." shall be substituted. |

for the entry under column (2), the following entry shall be substituted, namely :— |

|

in column (3), for the words "Ten per cent ad valorem", the words "Twenty per cent ad valorem." shall be substituted. |

In the Table annexed to the said notification, for the words "One per cent ad valorem.", wherever they occur, the words "Two per cent ad valorem." shall be substituted. |
