In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amending in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 211/76-Central Excise, dated the 17th July, 1976, namely :-

In the said notification, for the words, figures and brackets "Item No. 16B of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944)", the words, figures and brackets "Sub-heading No. 4408.20 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)" shall be substituted.
