Synthetic Rubber Latex [Tariff Item 16AA] Notification No. 253/85-C.E. Dated 23-12-1985 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, l944, the Central Government hereby exempts synthetic rubber latex, falling under Item No. 16AA of the First Schedule to the Central Excises, and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), and consumed within the factory in which it is manufactured for further manufacture of synthetic rubber, falling under the, said Item No. 16AA, from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Act.
