Ballistic grade ceramic plate, high performance polyethy- lene plate - Amendment to Notification No. 39/96-Cus. Notification No. 111/99-Cus. Dated 21-9-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely :- In the Table, against S. No. 16, in column 2, for the words "ballistic grade ceramic plate", the words "ballistic grade ceramic plate, high performance polyethylene plate" shall be substituted.
