Imports against value based advance licence - Amendment to Notification No. 203/92-Cus. Notification No. 199/94-Cus. Dated 23-12-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of india in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 203/92-Customs, dated the 19th May, 1992, namely :- In the said notification, — (a) after condition (vii), the following condition shall be inserted, namely :- "(viii) Notwithstanding anything contained in conditions (vi) and (vii) above, the endorsement of transferability or disposal of materials shall be allowed in respect of licences issued for the export of all kinds of writing instruments (including gift sets and refills/nibs) on fulfilment of export obligation only in favour of manufacture of writing instruments"; (b) in Explanation, in clause (iii), in the first proviso to sub-clause (a), after the words, "electronic goods", the words "and all kinds of writing instruments (including gift sets and refills/nibs)" shall be inserted.
