Amendment to Notification No. 31/89-Cus. - Basic duty for goods falling under Chapter 15 Notification No. 240/90-Cus. Dated 3-9-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 31/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for the entries against Sl. No. 51 and 52, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "51 1520.10 1520.90 Glycerol (glycerine) whether or not pure 80% ad valorem 52 1520.10 1520.90 Goods other than those specified against Sl. No. 51 above 55% ad valorem"
