Amendment to Notification No. 159/89-Cus. [Auxiliary Duty] Notification No. 256/89-Cus. Dated 25-10-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of Section 35 of the Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 159/89-Customs, dated the 12th May, 1989, namely :- In the said notification, after Sl. No. 271 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted namely :- "272. No. 254-Customs, dated the 25th October, 1989 273. No. 255-Customs, dated the 25th October, 1989."
