Wood [Chapter 44] Notification No. 439/86-Cus. Dated 6-10-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 62/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :- In the said notification - (a) for the words and figures "Heading Nos. 44.03, 44.07 or 44.08%, the words and figure "heading No. 44.03" shall be substituted; (b) in the Schedule, Sl. No. 3 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted.
