Amends Notification Nos. 232/83 and 67/85 Notification No. 427/86-Cus. Dated 12-9-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 232/83-Customs, dated the 18th August, 1983 In the Table annexed to the said notification : (i) against S. No. 9, in column (2), for the existing entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :- "Capacitors (excluding paper capacitors, power capacitors and disc ceramic capacitors)"; and (ii) S. No. 20 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 67/85-Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985. In the Table annexed to the said notification, S. No. 2 and entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
