Life saving drugs and medicines Notification No. 417/86-Cus. Dated 22-8-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 208/81 dated 22nd September, 1981, namely :- In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, under the heading "B. Life saving equipments," after item No. 48 and the entry relating thereto, the following item and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "49. AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) Test Kits."
