Life saving Drugs and Medicines Notification No. 367/86-Cus. Dated 24-6-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 208/81-Customs, dated the 22nd September, 1981, namely : In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, - (1) under heading "A. Life Saving drugs or medicines", after item No. 129 and the entry relating thereto, the following items and entries shall be inserted, namely : "130. Tamoxifen Citrate Capsules. 131. Colistin sulphomethate Sodium injection. 132. Colistin Sulphate tablets, injection granules/suspension. 133. Lincomycin Hydrochloride Capsules, Syrup and Injection. 134. Iopamidol. 135. Purified Chick Embryo Cell (PCEC), Rabbies Vaccine."; (2) under heading "B. Life Saving Equipment", after item No. 42 and the entry relating thereto, the following items and entries shall be inserted, namely : "43. Programmer for pacemaker. 44. Ancillaries for Blood Component Therapy required for the treatment of cancer, namely, Y Type blood solution recipient set; Transfer pack 1000 ml. and 300 ml.; Butterfly needle G., Infusion set; Disposable herasis bowl 225 ml. and 373 ml.; Hydroxy ethyl starch solution (Plasma Sterile); Wasting harness with bypass; and Waste bags. 45. Manual Skin grafting knives and its disposable blades. 46. Electric Dermatome (skin grafting knife) Electrically operated (Mains battery powered) and its disposable knife blades. 47. Air driven Dermatome (skin grafting knives) operated on compressed air and its disposable knife blades". 48. Meshgraft dermatome for expanding skin grafts, disposable meshgraft carriers for the above."
