Superseded vide NOTIFICATION NO. 23/2022-Customs (N.T.) dated 31-03-2022 Appointment of commissioners of customs for adjudication of cases 3 rd June, 2003 Notification No. 37/2003 - Customs (N.T) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Board hereby appoints:- 1.Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Mumbai; 2.Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Chennai; 3.Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Delhi; and 4.Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Kolkata, as 1 [Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be], each having jurisdiction over the whole of India, for the purposes of adjudicating the cases as assigned to them by the Board.
