Iron ore concentrate/pellets export canalised Notification No. 35/1997 Dated 20/01/1998 S.O.(E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 5 of the Foreign Trade Development Regulation) Act, 1992 (SI. No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002. 2. The following entry shall be added as S. No. 4(viii) and 4(ix) after the existing entry at SI. No. 4(vii) of Chapter 16. Part III. Paragraph 16.3- Canalised Items of EXIM Policy 1997-2002: - "4(viii) Iron ore concentrated prepared by beneficiations and/or concentration of low grade ore containing 40 percent or less of iron produced by Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited. Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited, Bangalore 4(ix) Iron Ore pellets manufactured by Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited out of concentrates Produced by it -do- 3. This issues in Public Interest.
