Exemption from Foreign Travel Tax to the foreign delegates attending Non-Aligned Summit Meeting Notification Number: 0090(E) Dated 19-02-1983 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby exempts the Heads of delegations, their spouses, delegates (including officials) numbering about three thousands in all, and the foreign media representatives numbering about one thousand, coming to attend the Non-Aligned Summit Meeting to be held in New Delhi, from the 7th March, 1983, to the 11th March, 1983, from payment of foreign travel tax leviable under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside India at the close of the said meeting. 2.
