Setting up a sector specific SEZ for information technology and information technology enabled services at village Sikohpur, Tehsil Sohna, District Gurgaon - Haryana - De-notification of certain area notified Notification Number S.O. 1761(E), dated 15th October, 2007 MINISTRY OF COMMERCE ANII INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) New Delhi , the 13th September, 2010 S.O. 2260(E).- Whereas M/s. Luxor Cyber City Private Limited, a Private Organisation in the State of Haryana, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at village Sikohpur, Tehsil Sohna, District Gurgaon in the State of Haryana; And whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, had notified an area of 27.07845 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number SO. 680(E), dated 27th April, 2007; And whereas, the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, had notified an additional area of 7.904188588 hectares in the above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and industry Notification Number S.O. 1761(E), dated 15th October, 2007; And whereas, M/s. Luxor Cyber City Private Limited has now proposed for the de-notification of 7.904188588 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 15th July, 2010; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies an area of 7.904188588 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 27.07845 hectares of the above Special Economic Zone, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely :— TABLE Sl.
