Set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology-enabled services at Gurgaon, in the State of Haryana - S.O. 3079 - Special Economic Zone

MINITSTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 31st December, 2010 S.O. 3079 - M/s. Dr. Fresh Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology-enabled services at Gurgaon, in the State of Haryana And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that 1h requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the c Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of said Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology-enabled services sector at the said village on the 26th day of June, 2006 over an area of 30 .35 hectares; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules. 2006 . has notified a total area of 23.429 hectares al Gurgaon, Haryana as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry notification number 593(E), dated the 17th April, 2007; And whereas M/s. Dr. Fresh Healthcare Pvt. ltd. has proposed to include additional remaining area of 3.2829 hectares at Village - Ghamroj, Tehsil - Sohna, Gurgaon. in the State of Haryana as a part of that Special Economic Zone. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 3.2829 hectares at Village - Ghamroj.
