GSR 927(E), DATED 21-12-2000, ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS Subject:- Appointment of sole selling agents in certain cases - Sole selling agents not to be appointed by any company for sale of Vanaspati in India for period of two years G.S.R. 927(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 294AA of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government, being of the opinion that the demand for Vanaspati is substantially in excess of its production or supply and that the services of the sole selling agents will not be necessary to create a market for Vanaspati hereby declares that sole selling agents shall not be appointed by any company for its sale in India for a period of two years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
