Appointment of Commissioners — Amendment to Notification Nos. 47/99-Cus. (N.T.), 2/2004-Cus. (N.T.), 38/2004-Cus. (N.T.), 39/2004-Cus. (N.T.), 98/2004-Cus. (N.T.), 99/2004-Cus. (N.T.), 100/2004-Cus. (N.T.), 73/2003-Cus. (N.T.), 97/2003-Cus. (N.T.), 51/2004-Cus. (N.T.) and 33/2004-Cus. (N.T.) 23 rd September , 2004 Notification No. 107/2004 - Customs ( N.T) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with section 24 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the following amendments in the notifications specified in column (2) of the Table below are made by the Board , as specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table , namely :- Table Sl.No. Notification No . Amendments (1) (2) (3) 1 47/99-Customs(N.T), dated the 17 th August,1999 [G.S.R 593 (E),dated the 17 th August,1999 ] In the said notification, for the words and brackets, “the Central Government hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), New Delhi ”, the following shall be substituted, namely:- “ the Board hereby appoints Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”. 2 2/2004-Customs (N.T), dated the 2 nd January, 2004 [ G.S.R 5(E),dated the 2 nd January, 2004 ] In the said notification, for the words “ the Commissioner of Customs , Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Shri H.K.Mittal , Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”. 3 38/2004-Customs (N.T), dated the 25 th March, 2004[G.S.R 213 (E), dated the 25 th March, 2004 ] In the said notification, for the words and brackets “ the Commissioner of Customs , Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi , to act as Commissioner of Customs (Port), Kolkata ”, the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Shri H.K.Mittal , Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”. 4 39/2004-Customs (N.T), dated the 25 th March, 2004 [ G.S.R 214 (E), dated the 25 th March, 2004 ] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words and brackets “ the Commissioner of Customs (Exports)” and ending with the words “ Tughlakabad, New Delhi”, the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”. 5 98/2004-Customs (N.T), dated the 26 th August, 2004 [G.S.R 544(E), dated the 26 th August,2004 ] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words and brackets “ the Commissioner of Customs (Exports) ” and ending with the brackets and words “ ( Import and General), New Delhi ” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”. 6 99/2004-Customs (N.T), dated the 26 th August, 2004 [ G.S.R 545 (E), dated the 26 th August, 2004 ] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words and brackets “ the Commissioner of Customs (Exports) ” and ending with the words “ Tughlakabad, New Delhi ” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”. 7 100/2004-Customs(N.T), dated the 26 th August, 2004 [ G.S.R 546 (E), dated the 26 th August, 2004 ] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words and brackets “Commissioner of Customs (Exports)” and ending with the words “Tughlakabad, New Delhi” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”. 8 73/2003-Customs (N.T), dated the 10 th September,2003 [G.S.R 724 (E),dated the 10 th September,2003] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words “Commissioner of Customs , Kandla” and ending with the word “ Ahmedabad ” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Additional Director General (Vigilance), Mumbai”. 9 97/2003-Customs(N.T.), dated the 7 th November, 2003 [ G.S.R 873 (E), dated the 7 th November, 2003] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words “Commissioner of Customs , Kandla” and ending with the words “ Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Additional Director General (Vigilance), Mumbai”. 10 51/2004-Customs (N.T) , dated the 20 th April, 2004 [ G.S.R 270 (E), dated the 20 th April, 2004 ] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words , “Commissioner of Customs , Customs House, Kandla” and ending with the word “ Goa” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Additional Director General (Vigilance), Mumbai”. 11 33/2004-Customs (N.T), dated the 17 th March, 2004[G.S.R 197 (E), dated the 17 th March ,2004 ] In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words “Commissioner of Customs , Bangalore” and ending with the words and brackets “Commissioner of Customs (Air Port), Chennai ” , the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication) , Bangalore”.
