In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 15 of the Central Excise Rules 2002 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 17/2007-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2007, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 146 (E) dated, the 1st March, 2007, namely:- In the said notification, in para 1, against item (i), for the entry Thirty thousand rupees , the entry Forty thousand rupees shall be substituted.
