Extension in date of shipment for the export of Onion TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART-II, SECTION-3, SUB SECTION(ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION NO. 46 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 NEW DELHI DATED THE 28 th JANUARY,2002 S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy,1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the "ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31 st August,1998)" and as amended from time to time:- 2. In continuation of Notification 44 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated the 24 th December, 2001 allowing export of a total quantity of 1 lakh (one lakh) MTs. of onion upto 31 st January, 2002, it has been decided to extend the shipment period for export of above quantity of onions upto 31 st March, 2002.
