Amends notification no. 20/2006 dated 3-1-2006 - exempt certain specified goods from special CVD leviable on imported goods - 020/2008 - Customs -Tariff

NOTIFICATION No.20/2008-Customs New Delhi , the 1st March, 2008 11 Phalguna, 1929 (Saka) G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 92(E) of the same date, namely:- In the said notification, (i) in the Table, S. Nos. 11 and 12 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (ii) in paragraph 2, for the letter, words and figures "S. Nos. 17 and 28", the letter, words and figures "S. Nos. 17, 28 and 28A" shall be substituted. [F.No.334/1/2008-TRU] (S.
