Sector specific Special Economic Zone for biotechnology sector at village Owale, Ghodbunder Road, District Thane in the State of Maharashtra. NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 2nd July, 2008 S.O. 1608(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), the Central Government hereby appoints the 2ND day of July 2008 as the date from which the sector specific Special Economic Zone for biotechnology sector at village Owale, Ghodbunder Road, District Thane in the State of Maharashtra proposed to be developed by M/s.
